Body & Paint Trainer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Body & Paint Repair Trainer with strong expertise in multi-material body construction, structural and outer panel replacement, and advanced paint repair processes.

Key Responsibilities:
 - Body Repair:
• Perform repairs on multi-material body structures (steel, aluminum, composites).
• Execute fixed outer panel and structural panel replacement procedures following OEM standards.
• Utilize MIG welding and spot-welding techniques effectively.
• Apply bonding and riveting concepts for structural integrity.
• Operate different pulling systems for body alignment and correction.
• Use 3D measuring systems for accurate body dimension checks.
• Design and build various JIG systems for repair and assembly processes.
- Paint Repair:
• Understand painting materials, consumables, and their applications.
• Carry out basic paint repair processes, including spot repairs and new panel painting.
• Work with water-based painting technologies and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
• Diagnose and resolve paint-related issues efficiently.
• Maintain high-quality finish standards in all paint repair operations.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of multi-material body construction.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, spot welding, bonding, and riveting techniques.
• Hands-on experience with pulling systems and 3D measuring tools.
• Ability to build and use JIG systems for repair processes.
• Solid understanding of painting materials and consumables.
• Experience in water-based painting technologies and paint defect resolution.
• Knowledge of OEM repair standards and safety protocols.
Preferred Experience:
• Minimum [6] years in automotive body and paint repair.
• Certification in automotive body repair and painting (preferred).
• Familiarity with advanced repair technologies and tools.
