Responsibilities
Manage international air, ocean, and ground shipments from origin through customs clearance, delivery, and warehouse receipt.
Request and compare quotes, recommend routing based on cost and transit time, and book approved shipments.
Coordinate cargo-ready dates, pickups, product and carton label approvals, and delivery appointments with manufacturers, carriers, and warehouses.
Prepare and review packing lists and commercial invoices; verify consignee details, addresses, Incoterms, HS codes, and country-of-origin information; coordinate customs clearance and review entry summaries.
Track shipments, keep client-facing trackers current, communicate status and delays, and resolve shipment exceptions.
Use TMS and WMS platforms to manage bookings, shipment milestones, and warehouse receiving; maintain accurate shipment records.
Prepare monthly client expense reports covering warehouse costs, inbound and outbound freight, and products sourced by Passport Global.
Audit third-party logistics (3PL) and freight charges, resolve billing discrepancies, coordinate credits, and identify service or cost improvements.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Freight Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end freight for Passport Global clients.
