Requirements
  • An Assistant Professor must hold a DVM or equivalent degree, successfully complete a residency program, and be board certified or board eligible by the American College of Veterinary Radiology in Radiation Oncology.
  • An Associate Professor must hold a DVM or equivalent degree, have five years of related experience, and hold board certification in the American College of Veterinary Radiology in Radiation Oncology.
  • A Full Professor must hold a DVM or equivalent degree, have eight years of related experience, and hold board certification in the American College of Veterinary Radiology in Radiation Oncology.
  • The position requires board certification or board eligibility by the American College of Veterinary Radiology in Radiation Oncology.
  • The position is part of the emergency response personnel and requires reporting in and performing duties outlined in the emergency response plan during emergency response events.
  • The position requires the ability to lift more than 50 pounds, stand or walk for prolonged periods, see near and far, reach below the shoulder, push, pull, grasp, sit, bend, crawl, squat, and twist.
  • The position is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Candidates must have valid United States work authorization at the time of hire and maintain it throughout employment.
  • Credentials required for minimum qualifications that were received outside the United States require a credential evaluation from a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services member before hire.
  • Employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment background check.
Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise and deliver radiation therapy services for all species.
  • Conduct scholarly activity including teaching and research.
  • Participate in clinical or tenure-track faculty activities within the veterinary oncology program.
Desired Qualifications
  • A DVM or equivalent degree is preferred.
  • Board certification in the American College of Veterinary Radiology (Radiation Oncology) is preferred.
