Requirements
  • The role requires onsite work in the Austin, Texas office.
  • The employee must work on a W-2 basis and meet benefits eligibility requirements based on hours worked.
  • The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break, totaling 35 hours per week.
  • The candidate must hold a valid visa permitting work in the United States.
  • The candidate must have native-level fluency in Croatian and fluency in English.
  • The candidate must have strong communication skills and be comfortable working with customers and stakeholders at different levels.
  • The candidate must be able to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback and present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and linguists.
Responsibilities
  • Manage linguistic tasks.
  • Coordinate the linguistic team.
  • Review copy and provide feedback to testers.
  • Share client feedback.
  • Support testers in understanding corrections resulting from the arbitration process.
  • Act as liaison for terminology, style issues, product features, and questions.
  • Support onboarding of new testers.
  • Identify language-specific training needs.
  • Create, maintain, and deliver linguistic training programs.
  • Plan and execute quality management activities.
  • Engage with clients.
  • Manage linguistic assets.
  • Complete assigned tasks with quality and timeliness.
Desired Qualifications
  • Background in marketing, journalism, copy editing, proofreading, writing, translation, and/or localization.
  • Experience supporting and training others, sharing knowledge, and helping the team grow.
  • Experience working with customers and stakeholders at different levels.
