- A high school diploma is required.
- Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least one to two years in a training or supervisory capacity, are required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly articulate in speech, connect with others, collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners, and handle disagreements and difficult conversations positively.
- Proficiency demonstrating technical knowledge in a manufacturing environment, delivering instruction, and providing constructive feedback to trainees, with the ability to work with individuals who have different learning preferences or styles.
- Proficiency impartially conducting practical tests, skill checks, or formal on-the-floor assessments.
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute work tasks independently according to a schedule or list of priorities, with flexibility to adapt to shifting business priorities.
- Ability to provide structured coaching and influence behavior change on the production floor.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of Pharmavite equipment and processes in the Gummies or Packaging departments.
- Basic computer skills, including Cornerstone Learning Management System, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Facilitate hands-on equipment and process training for operators within the assigned department and shift, and conduct and document skill assessments and recertifications.
- Serve as the first point of contact for new-hire training within the area after orientation.
- Use standardized training formats, including Standard Operating Procedures, Job Instructions, and Job Instruction Breakdown documents and assessments; update standardized documents for accuracy as needed; and use the Training Within Industry Job Instruction methodology during instruction.
- Monitor operators during normal production to verify process adherence, provide structured and documented coaching to close performance or knowledge gaps, support retraining after process updates, and facilitate and document training for One Point Lessons.
- Track and report training effectiveness using defined metrics such as skill proficiency, error reduction, and training completion.
- Validate that documented processes are trained and executed as designed, identify gaps between standard work and actual practice, and partner with leadership to revise procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety, Quality, Operations, and Operations Excellence teams to provide training that follows Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, safety, and operational standards.
- Lead or support targeted training projects tied to business needs, support process rollouts and updates through training according to established training plans, and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Conduct training classes, tutorials, or help sessions individually or in groups through production-floor instruction, classroom sessions, demonstrations, or coaching as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Three to five years of experience conducting technical training in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience or certification in the Training Within Industry Job Instruction methodology.
