  • BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
  • Excellent fundamentals in machine learning
  • Knowledge of Video or Image Processing or Computer Vision
  • Solid programming skills for common ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Experience productizing ML models
  • Prior experience working on deep learning techniques for video processing / computer vision.
  • Experience with programming on GPUs via APIs Metal / Cuda Open GL or Open CL
  • Strong fundamentals in Computer Architecture and Operating Systems
  • Good written and oral interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
  • application of machine learning techniques to image and video problems to create positive customer impact in current and future Apple products
  • work on your own and with other members of the team to prototype application of deep learning to video processing and demonstrating to XF teams as well as leadership
  • working on porting to different platforms and optimizing for memory, power and speed as well as distributing workload across CPU, GPU, Apple Neural Engine and other HW to develop viable solutions
  • work in an environment that fosters cross functional collaboration with several teams across software and hardware to deliver great holistic products
