Responsibilities
- Utilize Electronic Medical Record system.
- Assist physicians by performing administrative and clinical duties.
- Interview patients to obtain their medical history.
- Record patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files.
- Clean and sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
- Assist physicians during examination by handing over instruments and materials.
- Clean treatment rooms following patient examinations.
- Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining work practices that comply with established office policy and procedures.
- Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors and peers.
- Oversee and ensure that patients’ needs are met and that patients’ are served in an efficient and friendly manner.
- Respond to staff doctor needs before, during, and after patient exam.
- Answer incoming telephone calls, greet and check in patients in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma or Associate degree preferred.
- One year of experience as a medical assistant is preferred.
