About the job
- At least 3 years of previous insurance agency or brokerage experience in employee benefits is required.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills are required.
- Advanced knowledge of agency operational procedures and the agency management system is required.
- Ability to work effectively in teams, manage time well, and handle multiple projects and priorities.
- Legal work authorization to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Manage and support regional back-end operational functions to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
- Oversee outsourcing teams daily, reroute assigned tasks as needed, and monitor utilization and capacity.
- Lead weekly meetings to keep teams aligned.
- Maintain and administer agency management systems and execute finance-related operational processes to support operations leaders.
- Educate the field on outsourcing processes and serve as a subject matter expert for operational questions.
- Support special operational initiatives and address challenges related to finance, systems, outsourcing, reporting, and technology.
- Work independently, solve problems in unfamiliar situations, meet deadlines, and follow through on assigned work.
- L&H license, or ability to obtain one within 90 days, and/or equivalent job experience.
- Experience working with Applied Epic, BenefitPoint, Sagitta, Smartsheet, and Microsoft 365.
