- An associate or bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders is required for the SLPA role.
- An Oklahoma SLPA license is required, or the candidate must be eligible to obtain one.
- Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset are required.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for pediatric patients.
- Implement and adjust therapy interventions to improve communication, social skills, and functional independence.
- Document services with the electronic medical record system to meet clinical standards and payer regulations.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide guidance and supervision to SLPAs, graduate students, and Clinical Fellows, depending on experience.
- Experience or interest in pediatrics, including working with children.
- Passion for working with children and helping them thrive.
