  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Technical Writing, Communications, Journalism, Computer Science or a related technical field, and a strong record of academic achievement.
  • At least one semester/quarter remaining to complete after the internship
  • Available to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks
Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with writers, content designers, software developers, UX designers, and product managers to update existing technical content and create new materials based on customer requests and internal requirements.
  • Work in an Agile software development environment that uses industry-standard tools to manage and coordinate work.
  • Gain hands-on experience creating and publishing informational content for docs.splunk.com, dev.splunk.com, or other Splunk sites.
  • Use your curiosity and fresh perspective as a new Splunk software user to offer suggestions for improving Splunk documentation.
  • Work with expert writers, editors, and doc team managers to learn what information design and technical writing looks like in the real world: part software development, part user experience design, part investigative journalism.
