About the job
- A university degree in a relevant field of study, such as computer science, engineering, or natural sciences, or a comparable qualification, is required.
- Hands-on iOS development experience, including initial professional experience such as internships or working student roles, is required in addition to academic or personal projects.
- Familiarity with Swift and the iOS software development kit, plus basic experience with UIKit and Auto Layout, is required.
- Motivation to learn modern iOS development practices and deepen understanding of the platform is required.
- Solid analytical thinking and interest in understanding technical and product-related problems are required.
- Interest in building user experiences and learning to implement custom user interface components is required.
- Fluent English in writing and reading is required.
- Ability and motivation to quickly learn new concepts and adapt to changes in the iOS ecosystem are required.
- Curiosity about technology stacks and platforms beyond iOS is required.
- Work alongside software engineers and academics to help build products that make complex investing topics more accessible to users.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of user interfaces and features on iOS.
- Take ownership of parts of the app and gradually grow responsibility across the full development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Experiment with iOS technologies and best practices with support from experienced team members.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code with a strong focus on quality and security.
- Continuously improve technical skills and stay informed about developments in the iOS ecosystem.
- German language skills are a plus.
- Prior fintech experience is not required, but interest in investing or digital finance is a plus.
- Curiosity about or existing customer use of Scalable Capital is desirable.
