Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Marketing, Film, Video, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years in a creative marketing role, including 8+ years in video editing and motion graphics.
  • Extensive experience working in agency environments, the tech industry, or similar fields.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premier Pro, After Effects), Final Cut X, and Adobe Audition.
  • Proficient with professional cameras, prosumer camcorders, various HD and SD formats.
  • Strong skills in pre-production planning, studio and field production, lighting/grip, scriptwriting, storyboarding, and photography.
  • High technical aptitude and quick learner of new systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite.
  • Knowledge in audio production (small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors) and recording techniques.
  • Proficiency in digital video editing, motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple platforms.
  • Confidence in leading projects independently or in teams.
  • Experience directing teams on set and in production environments.
  • Ability to manage projects efficiently in fast-paced settings through tight timelines.
  • Excellent persuasive communication and interviewing skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical ideas into compelling multimedia marketing assets.
  • Leadership qualities to attract and motivate team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at training diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate video production efforts with product launches and go-to-market strategies while staying abreast of industry trends and innovative techniques to enhance brand impact.
  • Develop an annual video strategy aligned with marketing and company objectives.
  • Conceptualize and produce multimedia content like podcasts, case studies, promotional, product, and marketing videos.
  • Address diverse international and multi-language needs.
  • Lead brainstorming, scripting, storyboarding, and resource allocation for project success.
  • Collaborate with creative teams for innovative content ideas and maintain high-quality standards, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Develop and oversee production schedules for timely project execution.
  • Manage logistics for video shoots, including location selection and equipment management.
  • Coordinate the entire production process, aligning it with marketing strategies and company goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of internal video production specialists, fostering a collaborative and creative environment and enhancing team skills and performance.
  • Coordinate logistics for crew, talent, and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging the team to adopt and experiment with new tools and creative techniques in video production.
  • Oversee and conduct video and sound editing, format selection, media import, and raw media organization.
  • Enhance productions with graphics, titles, music, voice-overs, sound effects, and closed-captioning.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project pricing and requirements.
  • Maintain effective relationships with third-party agencies and internal teams.
  • Manage and curate the company's video library and oversee external video channels.
  • Perform regular audits of video platforms for performance and compliance.
  • Diligently monitor and analyze video and broadcast metrics to extract key insights, guiding strategic refinements for enhanced effectiveness.
  • Assess Return on Investment (ROI) and quantify the business impact of video content, enabling data-driven decisions for future projects.
  • Oversee the budget for video production and ensure optimal resource and equipment utilization and maintenance.
  • Plan and conduct on-site video shoots, manage travel, required rentals, and location arrangements.
  • Lead the creation of various video types, including corporate, customer proof/advocacy, and product-related videos.
  • Coordinate video planning for large company events, ensuring comprehensive coverage and high-quality production.
  • Develop and improve internal video production processes, including intake, vendor management, quality assurance, and adherence to guidelines.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts, and handle budgets for cost-effective production solutions.
  • Select, hire, and lead crew and talent, providing direction and coaching.
  • Provide guidance on video production equipment, software, and techniques, ensuring up-to-date technology and equipment maintenance. Pushing the team to innovate using the latest tools and techniques.
