We’re Looking For A: Product Development Coordinator to streamline and enhance the product development process by providing general administrative support through organization of files, research of ingredients, and ensuring the seamless stocking of our product room. They will be dedicated to supporting the Product Development team in creating innovative and high-quality products, contributing to the success and growth of our brands.
Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist Product Development team with specific market research, ingredient search, specific market analysis research, competitor’s product assessment and pricing
- Assists Product Development team with routing submissions for evaluation and gathering/reporting feedback to inform product redirect or approvals
- Assist Product Development team in keeping track on inserts and create insert records
- Assist Product Development team with daily activities and special projects, as needed
- Assist with ingredient substantiation for QVC
- Work closely with project management teams to drive projects to launch dates
- Position will require excellent organizational skills to prepare several documents for, and participate in product development meetings with analytical thinking and industry insights
- Update all Product Development spreadsheets
- Source raw ingredients, materials and/or manufacturing suppliers
- Create and maintain raw material brochure/info database
- Create and maintaining all Product Information Sheets for all Golden Hippo brands
- Maintain the formula database updated (tracking all ingredients for all products)
- Collaborate with legal team in order to clear all product and brand names
- Update various departments with new or revised product information
- Proactively stay on top of key product and regulatory trends that can unlock growth opportunities for our business in the product, ingredient or communications space
Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Excellent project and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, meet critical project milestones, and communicate cross functionally
- Very comfortable working teams, communicating with people and establishing rapport
- 1 year of Work experience in administrative or coordination role
- 1+ years of beauty and/or supplement industry product development experience a plus but not required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sciences or related fields preferred

The base salary range for this position is $20.82-$27.79, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
