Requirements
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in SOC, IT security, or related IT operations (internships or lab projects may also count)
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity, especially incident detection and response
  • Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, or cloud-native security services)
  • Basic understanding of networking, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and common attack techniques
  • Some hands-on experience with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
  • Motivation to learn and grow into handling complex incidents and automation
  • Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or the Cyber Kill Chain is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for exploring how AI and automation can improve security operations
Responsibilities
  • Support the team in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents
  • Assist in operating and improving our SIEM, EDR, and DLP tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Netskope)
  • Help document and refine incident response processes and playbooks
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and learn best practices from senior colleagues
  • Contribute to automation and scripting tasks to improve SOC efficiency
  • Join the on-call rotation after training and onboarding
  • Explore the use of AI-driven solutions to automate repetitive tasks and enhance monitoring
  • Collaborate in an intercontinental team, working across time zones and learning from colleagues worldwide
