Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in an upscale or luxury lifestyle brand hotel, is required.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including Front Desk, Concierge, Bell, and Guest Services, is required.
  • Knowledge of front desk protocol and experience working with high-profile guests are required.
  • Strong knowledge of property management systems such as Opera Cloud and SynXis is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
  • Ability to stand or walk for a minimum eight-hour shift is required.
  • Ability to remain observant, respond quickly to various situations, multitask, and handle stressful situations is required.
  • Ability to twist, tow or push and pull, reach, bend, climb, and carry objects as necessary is required.
  • Ability to push more than 20 pounds consistently is required.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, wage and hour issues, and labor relations is required.
  • A neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance is required.
  • Ability to follow department uniform guidelines and wear required articles of clothing is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Front Office departments to ensure outstanding guest service and smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain the highest levels of guest service and consistency with Delano brand standards.
  • Oversee scheduling, training, and performance management of Front Office staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest services and ensure efficient problem resolution.
  • Analyze front office metrics and support revenue management strategies and hotel profitability.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvement strategies.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hotel policies and procedures.
  • Drive team member engagement and team development through regular training and coaching.
  • Mentor, coach, and guide staff on working successfully in a team atmosphere.
  • Ensure all necessary reports and forms are completed daily.
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • Provide lateral service and perform related tasks as needed to deliver exceptional guest service.

  • Additional language ability is preferred.
