  • 6+ years of experience in a senior privacy role
  • In-depth knowledge of global privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other global and domestic data protection laws
  • Experience navigating privacy considerations facing digital advertising
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience operationalizing and/or managing global privacy requirements
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • History of delivering complex regulatory-driven process improvement projects with technology processes and/or major tech companies
  • Experience in data privacy or regulatory compliance in a highly technical environment
  • Professional certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT are highly desirable
  • Experience evaluating the design and effectiveness of controls
  • Experience in working directly with auditors for compliance assessments
Responsibilities
  • Stay abreast of global privacy regulations and assist in creating thoughtful compliance strategies
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify and address privacy risks and vulnerabilities
  • Lead efforts to implement and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and documentation related to compliance efforts
  • Oversee and independently conduct privacy impact assessments for new and existing initiatives
  • Evaluate and manage privacy risks associated with third-party vendors specifically within the Adtech space
  • Provide strategic guidance on privacy compliance and best practices to internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on the status of the privacy program
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging privacy issues to proactively enhance the privacy program
  • Conduct periodic audits and assessments to measure the effectiveness of the privacy program
  • Develop and deliver privacy training programs for employees and contractors
  • Promote privacy awareness and champion a culture of privacy across the organization
