Requirements
  • BS degree in technical discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Working Experience with different wireless communication systems such as GSM/UMTS/LTE, 802.11xx, Bluetooth etc. including the corresponding system level specifications (e.g., ETSI 51.010, 51.05…)
  • Working Experience with regulatory requirements and certification process for wireless consumer devices, including FCC, PTCRB, CTIA, ETSI, 3GPP etc.
  • Excellent communication skills required, both written & verbal.
Responsibilities
  • Validating RF Exposure test cases for different regulatory domains in certification test setups.
  • Translating WW regulatory requirements into test cases.
  • Coordinating with regulatory compliance teams to ensure product validation covers all certification tests.
  • Define/execute validation plan for RF Exposure facing SW features.
  • Debugging marginal/failure tests with cross-functional teams like RFHW /Antenna/ Product Design/EE/etc. and drive design changes to address issues.
  • Maintain test setups via periodic checks, calibration, etc.
  • Help Regulatory Compliance teams in planning/executing on final certification testing at 3rd party test labs.
Desired Qualifications
  • MS degree in technical discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Working experience of antenna design and tests, in particular hands-on experience for compliance measurements is desirable.
  • Experience with 5GmmWave standard and/or hands-on chamber/system level understanding is a plus.
  • Experience with Antenna/EM simulation tools is a plus.
