Requirements
  • A master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or family development is required.
  • An active Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure, is required.
  • Active Mandt certification is required.
  • Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development, behavioral health, and therapeutic interventions is required.
  • Clinical experience supporting children and adolescents in educational or behavioral health settings is required.
Responsibilities
  • Organize caregiver and family participation activities to strengthen student support and engagement.
  • Provide individual and group therapy services based on student needs and treatment goals.
  • Oversee Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports planning, facilitate meetings, and provide guidance to classroom staff on behavior support strategies.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and outside agencies to improve the quality of care and student outcomes.
  • Complete student assessments within thirty days of enrollment and coordinate telepsychiatry services as needed.
