About the job
- Have 1â5 years or more of software engineering experience building real-world applications.
- Know TypeScript, React, Next.js, Python, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Enjoy working in a fast-moving startup with low amounts of process.
- Have excellent communication skills and a strong ability to collaborate with teammates and external customers.
- Build a consumer-grade user interface experience for GenAI Chat, Enterprise Search, Agents, and Admin features.
- Extend backend functionalities and APIs.
- Improve the flexibility and quality of the search pipeline, build a semantic understanding of customer organizations, extend current permission and access controls, and expand knowledge curation features.
- Implement current approaches in natural language processing research, such as large language model-based knowledge graphs, StructRAG, and agent or deep-research approaches, to increase the range of questions the system can answer.
- Own the entire development cycle of new features, from conception to production.
- Collaborate with the founders and team to shape and influence product direction and contribute to engineering strategy.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and on-premises or cloud deployments.
- Experience or interest in AI, including natural language processing, deep learning, or generative AI, and information retrieval.
- Previous experience as a founder or early engineer at a seed- or Series A-stage startup.
