Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field
  • Deep, hands-on understanding of the inner workings of a core banking system — ideally at the posting-logic / double-entry ledger level
  • A track record of building or product-managing a core banking product itself (a platform/vendor perspective) — as opposed to running core conversion or transformation programs inside a bank
  • Strong traditional product-management background across several of: pricing, risk, compliance, product performance, legal, communication, partnering, and go-to-market
  • A very good understanding of the US banking market and its regulatory environment
  • 10+ years of professional experience, with significant time in Product Management for complex, regulated technology platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategy across multiple product areas and lead the most complex cross-functional initiatives with a high degree of autonomy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; able to shape company-level product communication and executive-ready written theses.
Responsibilities
  • With your PM colleagues, own and drive product strategy and roadmap across multiple Core domains (e.g., deposits, postings/ledger, product factory, transactions) and the end-to-end core product.
  • The most complex cross-company initiatives — including core conversion enablement and US market-expansion capabilities.
  • Connecting product strategy to org-level technical strategy; anchoring build vs. buy vs. partner.
  • Product GTM with measurable outcomes and documented reviews, in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Ops, and client teams.
  • Operating models and planning frameworks for the Core PM group; standards and playbooks other PMs build on.
  • Regulatory posture and responsible-AI principles embedded into the Core product.
  • With your PM colleagues define and own multi-domain product strategy and the multi-quarter roadmap for Core Banking.
  • Translate business, regulatory, and client needs into clear product outcomes; frame problems others haven't yet articulated.
  • Conduct appropriate research and synthesize findings.
  • Make informed trade-offs across speed, quality, scalability, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers on prioritization, sequencing, planning, and dependency management across teams and squads.
  • Set operating rhythms and planning frameworks; remove cross-team hurdles and drive quality and velocity improvements.
  • Maintain a coherent, prioritized product direction as priorities shift.
  • Act as the senior product interface for business, operations, compliance, risk, legal, and technology stakeholders.
  • Influence VP/SVP decisions through documented prioritization and signed trade-offs (timeline, risk, cost).
  • Represent the Core product with external banking clients and internal SoFi Bank partners.
  • Apply posting-logic-level understanding of core banking (accounts, double-entry ledger, postings, interest, product catalog, batch vs. real-time).
  • Challenge business architectural assumptions at the system and cross-org level; prevent unnecessary complexity and maintenance burden.
  • Ensure the Core product meets the requirements of US-chartered banking entities.
Desired Qualifications
  • LatAm core banking exposure and/or Spanish-language proficiency
  • Experience with modern, API-first, cloud-native core platforms and microservices architectures
  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape (e.g., Thought Machine, 10x, Mambu, Finxact, FIS, Fiserv, Jack Henry, Temenos)
  • Experience selling or supporting a core platform for external financial-institution clients as well as an in-house bank

SoFi expands access to private markets with funds from CAZ Investments and AngelList Asset Management.

SoFi expands access to private markets with funds from CAZ Investments and AngelList Asset Management. * Wealth Management * 06.08.2026 05:59 am SoFi Technologies, Inc., the everything app for digital financial services, today introduced three new private market funds from CAZ Investments and AngelList Asset Management. These funds provide exposure to private market strategies across AI, fintech, healthcare, defense, and other sectors, with investments that may include companies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Anduril, and others. Investors are looking beyond traditional stocks and bonds, but the complexity of private market investing has historically put these strategies out of reach for many. SoFi Securities LLC, is helping bridge that gap by pairing expanded access to these private market strategies with educational resources that empower members to invest with greater confidence. The new funds include: * CAZ GP Stakes Fund: Seeks long-term capital appreciation and current income by investing primarily in alternative asset management firms, including firms that manage private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, commodity-related securities, and venture capital strategies. * CAZ Strategic Opportunities Fund: Seeks long-term capital appreciation and current income through broad exposure to innovative and predominantly private markets. The fund seeks exposure across multiple asset types, including private equity, private credit, real estate/real assets, and liquid assets. * AngelList Asset Management's USVC Venture Capital Access Fund: Seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing in venture capital funds and underlying private growth-oriented companies with exposure across AI, fintech, healthcare, defense, and other innovation-driven sectors, which may include opportunities connected to the AngelList platform. "SoFi is making alternative investing more accessible for investors looking to diversify their portfolios, but who have previously faced barriers to entry," said Anthony Noto, CEO of SoFi. "We're proud to expand our selection of investment opportunities across private equity, real estate, venture capital, and more, giving members more ways to diversify their portfolios and pursue their financial ambitions." This expanded offering provides SoFi Invest members with: * High-quality investments: Strategies of this type have been historically out of reach for many. These funds include strategies investing directly in private companies or indirectly through other private market funds and investment vehicles. * Periodic Liquidity: Unlike many traditional private investments, these funds intend to offer periodic, limited opportunities to have shares repurchased, giving investors greater flexibility to access their capital. * Low-friction experience: Private market investing can be complex, with unfamiliar terminology and fund structures. SoFi helps simplify the experience through educational resources, transparent reporting, and a seamless investing experience within the SoFi app. * Lower minimums: With minimum investments starting at $500 for the USVC Fund and $2,500 for the CAZ funds, investors can access private market strategies with lower capital requirements than many traditional private investments. Over the past year, SoFi has expanded its private markets offering with additional funds from asset management firms including Cashmere, ARK Invest, and Liberty Street Advisors. Today's launch marks another step in broadening access to private market investing.

SoFi democratizes private equity with new CAZ and AngelList funds featuring OpenAI exposure.

SoFi democratizes private equity with new CAZ and AngelList funds featuring OpenAI exposure. Quick summary. SoFi is expanding investor access to private markets funds by partnering with CAZ Investments and AngelList. This initiative allows retail investors to gain exposure to high-value private companies like OpenAI and Anthropic with entry points as low as $500, effectively democratizing institutional-grade venture capital strategies. How does SoFi expand access to private markets funds? SoFi solves the barrier to entry problem for retail investors by lowering the capital requirements typically associated with venture capital. By offering private markets funds from CAZ Investments and AngelList Asset Management, SoFi enables users to invest in late-stage private companies with minimums starting at $500 for the USVC Fund and $2,500 for CAZ-managed funds. This shift moves away from the traditional model where such investments required six-figure commitments and accredited investor status. * Institutional-style strategies now available to everyday brokerage users. * Diversified sector exposure including AI, defense tech, and healthcare. * Streamlined digital onboarding directly through the SoFi mobile application. What companies are included in the new SoFi funds? The new investment vehicles provide a diversified portfolio approach to the private sector. Investors can gain indirect exposure to market-leading AI firms such as OpenAI and Anthropic, as well as defense technology innovator Anduril. These private markets funds are designed to capture value from companies that are staying private longer, allowing retail participants to benefit from valuation growth cycles previously reserved for institutional players and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. * OpenAI and Anthropic represent the core of the AI-focused exposure. * Anduril provides a foothold in the rapidly expanding defense technology market. * Periodic liquidity features offer limited share repurchases to improve capital flexibility. Ff news take: This move by SoFi significantly moves the needle for retail wealth management. By integrating private markets funds into a self-directed brokerage, SoFi is challenging the traditional boundaries between retail and institutional investing. Providing access to "white whale" companies like OpenAI is a massive customer acquisition play that reinforces SoFi's position as a comprehensive financial super-app for the next generation of investors.
