Requirements
  • Hold a DEC in social work techniques.
  • Have at least six months of professional experience in youth protection, specifically applying protective measures.
  • Have strong communication, active listening, and psychosocial intervention skills.
  • Know the social issues and available resources in remote regions.
  • Be able to work independently and adapt to varied environments.
  • Have professional-level written and spoken French.
Responsibilities
  • Provide psychosocial support to individuals and families in remote regions, taking their cultural and social contexts into account.
  • Participate in assessing clients’ needs and developing appropriate intervention plans.
  • Conduct individual and group interviews to help clients overcome difficulties.
  • Collaborate with other social and community services to ensure interdisciplinary follow-up.
  • Lead awareness and prevention workshops on topics related to social well-being.
  • Conduct field visits to monitor clients’ situations.
  • Document and monitor client files in accordance with confidentiality and ethics rules.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay informed about best practices and approaches in social work.
