Requirements
  • A bac+5 degree in insurance law, civil law, personal injury law, and criminal law.
  • At least three years of experience handling compensation claims for bodily injuries suffered by victims of accidents or offenses, including CIVI cases and serious traffic-accident claims.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and synthesis skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to legislative and case-law developments.
  • Comfort with information technology tools and processing large volumes of data.
  • Interest in working with figures.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Build case files by collecting the documents and information needed to manage each case, appointing lawyers or experts, and analyzing received documents.
  • Set case reserves and establish liability under civil and criminal liability law in accordance with internal processes.
  • Negotiate with lawyers and insurance companies during amicable proceedings to compensate victims of accidents or assaults for bodily injury.
  • Monitor ongoing court proceedings and draft pleadings.
  • Defend the interests of RATP employees who are victims of assaults on the network, prepare and monitor their cases before the courts, including the CIVI, receive victim employees, and advise them.
  • Provide ongoing legal coverage.
  • Prepare and deliver training.
