Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Sourcing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum three years of experience in a sourcing position
  • 7-10 years buying experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate purchasing of goods and/or services within company policy and procedures
  • Verify vendor pricing and obtain comparative quotes
  • Ensure efficient communication of orders to suppliers
  • Maintain supplier records and files within company systems
  • Support monthly reporting requirements relating to procurement activities
  • Respond to queries raised with regards to suppliers and/or the procurement process
  • Participate and lead formal Request for Quote (RFQ) process
  • Assist in keeping the workplace clean and safe through 5S and Safety program
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities
