About the job
- Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working with children; some experience is requested.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, jump, jog, and move actively to execute a class.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have reliable personal transportation.
- Must communicate through email, text, phone, or the Marco Polo app.
- Deliver sports, fitness, and movement classes to children at preschools, daycares, municipal programs, and private schools using provided lesson plans and equipment.
- Coach children in sports and fitness activities, helping them enjoy participation and receive an introduction to sports and creative movement activities.
- Work daytime hours generally in the midtown Indianapolis area, with schedules varying by program and including some after-school or weekend clients.
- Experience coaching youth sports or teaching preschool-aged children, primarily ages 2–6 and up to age 12.
- Ability to be flexible and think on your feet when class conditions or available space vary.
