  • 5+ years of experience with data modeling and transformation
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL
  • Hands-on experience in data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in implementing data quality checks and writing unit tests
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data models using dbt
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, transformations, and business logic
  • Implement robust data quality checks and testing frameworks within dbt
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in the data transformation and modeling workflows
  • Work closely with the Director of Business Intelligence, BI analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, actionable datasets
  • Stay current with dbt best practices and analytics engineering trends

  • Experience in either data engineering or analysis roles
  • Experience with dbt is preferred but not required
