  • Professional phone etiquette and the ability to navigate inbound and outbound calls, chat, email, and text are required.
  • Compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and HIPAA regulations is required.
  • Time and attendance expectations defined in UT Health Attendance Policies must be met.
Responsibilities
  • Handle a high volume of patient and clinical business calls.
  • Provide an exceptional and positive patient experience to every caller in accordance with the UT Health Patient Experience program.
  • Schedule appointments for new and existing patients according to assigned clinic scheduling guidelines and protocols.
  • Assist patients with questions, concerns, and medication refills, and send messages to the appropriate provider or clinical staff.
  • Complete outbound calls to schedule patients while adhering to the processes and procedures for those assignments.
  • Meet or exceed contact-center performance metrics, focusing on the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of every call.
  • Provide service and appointment scheduling for all clinical areas.
  • Maintain call-quality assessment scores of 95% to 100% consistently.
  • Participate in ongoing technical, customer-service, and other training to continually improve skills.
  • Adapt to operational or business changes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous service excellence experience within the contact-center space.
  • Spanish language proficiency or bilingual Spanish/English ability.
