View

The Bernstein Companies is a privately-owned real estate firm focused on investment, management, and development of hotel, office, and residential properties, mainly in the mid-Atlantic region including Washington, D.C. It grows and manages a portfolio by acquiring properties, developing new ones, and converting existing buildings (for example, turning office spaces into apartments) while handling property management in-house. Unlike many firms that rely on external operators, Bernstein emphasizes in-house ownership and active development and asset management across its assets. The company aims to grow its portfolio and value in the mid-Atlantic through disciplined acquisition, development, and management of commercial, hotel, and residential properties.
