Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities
  • Perform support functions related to Commercial Auto Non-Trucking Liability, Auto Physical Damage, and Workers' Compensation.
  • Rate and compute premiums on quotes, policies, and endorsements.
  • Rate admitted and non-admitted commercial lines business.
  • Complete endorsement quality control on all lines written within the group.
  • Complete auto state vehicle reporting through ALIRTs.
  • Complete state filings, including Form E and MD FR-19.
  • Support policy setup, binding, issuance, and booking activities.
  • Review policy data for accuracy and completeness across systems and applicable rating platforms.
  • Process cancellations and non-renewals in systems and rating bureaus, as applicable.
  • Support renewal business through the full workflow, including rating, quoting, binding, and booking.
  • Work closely with the Underwriting team on new and renewal business.
  • Assist with Workers' Compensation bureau-related tasks as needed.
  • Handle ad hoc projects and other operational assignments as requested by management.
  • Communicate internally and externally with agents and brokers regarding rating and policy processing matters.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Two to four years of equivalent work experience or completion of an internship is preferred.
  • Commercial Auto and/or Auto Liability rating experience is strongly preferred.
  • Commercial Lines Rating experience in Workers' Compensation, Non-Trucking Liability, Physical Damage, Auto, General Liability, Package, admitted, and non-admitted business is preferred.
