What believers are saying

  • February 2026 announced a 70,000-square-foot Manchester expansion for growing large-format demand.
  • 2026 sustainability sheet highlights 1.4-megawatt solar, 0.7-megawatt fuel cell, and 100% consumables recycling.
  • XL Color integration expands retail point-of-purchase, trade-show, and event-production revenue streams.

What critics are saying

  • Spring 2026 expansion raises fixed costs before new equipment fills the building.
  • Commercial printing and direct mail face secular volume declines; underutilization destroys margins by 2027.
  • A major customer shift to digital fulfillment would strand Allied's specialized presses and campus investments.

What makes Allied Printing Services unique

  • 75% on-site renewable electricity and EPA Green Power Partnership status cut customer emissions.
  • XL Color adds wide-format signage, banners, and wraps to Allied's core direct-mail business.
  • Manchester campus expansion and automation plans deepen scale inside one Connecticut manufacturing hub.
