ServiceNow buys Israeli AI startup Sweep. ServiceNow, a US enterprise software company, is acquiring Sweep, an Israeli startup that builds software for go-to-market operations, in a deal estimated at hundreds of millions of dollars. Neither company has announced the transaction or disclosed its value. Founded in 2021, Sweep has raised US$46 million in disclosed funding, including a US$22.5 million series B round led by Insight Partners, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, announced in May 2025. Sweep's software works across platforms including ServiceNow, Salesforce, and HubSpot to monitor metadata, identify misalignments and bottlenecks, generate documentation, and provide contextual assistance. The startup has also been developing an "agentic layer" to recommend or implement changes. The deal would support ServiceNow's push into AI agents and autonomous enterprise work. The company already offers AI-powered sales automation tools in its customer relationship management lineup. It also follows ServiceNow's July acquisition of Israeli AI startup ai.work and earlier acquisitions including Traceloop, its third Israeli acquisition. Recent ServiceNow developments. The acquisition adds another Israeli company to ServiceNow’s rapidly expanding AI portfolio and comes less than two months after its purchase of ai.work. Sweep has raised $46 million in disclosed funding and builds AI agents that can work across enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, Salesforce and HubSpot.
Sweep has launched a cross-platform agent that enables teams to reason across Salesforce, Snowflake and Data 360 simultaneously through a continuously updated dependency graph. The system maps how enterprise data, workflows, metadata, permissions and business logic connect before changes are made. The agent addresses operational risks that occur when AI acts without complete cross-system context, such as approving orders without seeing downstream credit holds or compliance processes. Sweep automatically indexes metadata, schema and dependencies across connected platforms, allowing teams to ask plain-language questions and understand impact before implementation. Founded in 2021, Sweep's internal benchmarks show the platform compresses typical 11-hour cross-system investigations to approximately one hour. The company's clients include Brex, Wix, LG Electronics and SailPoint.
How Coastal uses Sweep for smarter Salesforce delivery. Tldr: * Coastal is using Sweep as part of its AI-powered methodology to accelerate manual Salesforce delivery work; automating org discovery, documentation, and dependency mapping across objects, fields, automations, and code. * Delivery teams work smarter by getting early technical clarity, faster root-cause investigation (saving 8 to 16 hours on complex issues), and more repeatable testing + training outputs. * The ROI is measurable across the lifecycle: Coastal sees 2-3 hours saved per workflow, smarter delivery execution, and pre-sales discovery shrinking from ~3 weeks to ~3 days with a 60%+ reduction in cost. Coastal & Sweep: smarter Salesforce delivery with AI. Coastal has built its reputation on delivery excellence: creating clarity in complex Salesforce environments and earning the trust that turns engagements into long-term strategic partnerships. That's why Coastal is partnering with Sweep to automate manual work and bring always-on agentic intelligence into GTM, delivery, and ongoing support. "For us, the ROI is clear: Sweep automates the busywork so our team can spend more time on the high-impact work that delivers results for our customers." - Eric Berridge, CEO, Coastal Salesforce delivery challenges with manual documentation. Salesforce delivery slows down when org knowledge is hard to access and impossible to keep current. Teams lose time tracing automation and rebuilding documentation that's outdated the moment it's written. Sweep indexes the Salesforce environment and maps dependencies across objects, fields, automations, and code, so teams can quickly understand what's in the org, how it works, and where risk lives. The result is earlier clarity, fewer surprises, and more time for strategic delivery work. How AI improves Salesforce delivery speed and quality. Salesforce project kickoff: faster discovery with AI. In the early days of a project, teams can sometimes find themselves building and gathering context that may not exist. With Sweep, Coastal teams begin with a shared source of truth: org logic can be surfaced, explained, and documented quickly, which reduces ambiguity and accelerates alignment with stakeholders. "Sweep is a vital part of Coastal's AI-powered methodology, closing the gap between kickoff and technical clarity. Our teams can onboard into an org and start making strategic recommendations in days, not weeks." - Sam Taylor, Senior Director Innovation, Coastal Reduce manual Salesforce build work with AI-powered org analysis. Sweep helps Coastal teams move faster through the most manual parts of builds by accelerating documentation creation and review, supporting functional testing workflows, and enabling proactive monitoring with agent-driven insights. One delivery team member described saving 8-16 hours by using the agent to go deeper on a technical problem rather than writing custom investigation code. Salesforce testing and UAT acceleration with AI. Sweep supports Coastal's delivery teams with unit test writing and UAT test writing in the test phase, UAT support and monitoring during training, and consistent asset generation or review throughout. This makes Coastal teams work smarter with the quality their customers expect. 1) smarter delivery execution OR manual tasks accelerated. On average, Coastal teams save roughly 2-3 hours every time they use Sweep to investigate an org, validate logic, or generate delivery documentation, reducing rework and improving project predictability. 2) clear ROI and cost impact. That reclaimed delivery capacity compounds quickly across projects and allows, Coastal to focus on high value work for their customers. 3) faster, more efficient pre-sales discovery. Because Sweep accelerates early technical clarity, Coastal has seen pre-sales analysis move from about 3 weeks to about 3 days, with a 60%+ reduction in pre-sales cost when AI-powered assessments replace manual discovery loops AI-powered Salesforce delivery differentiation for consulting partners. This partnership is about more than productivity. It's about evolving how a leading Salesforce consultancy delivers outcomes in a market where customers expect faster time-to-value, clearer technical accountability, and a modern delivery experience. Sweep, an agentic layer for enterprise systems, has been adopted by leading cybersecurity firms including SailPoint, Varonis, Vanta and Wiz to manage complex Salesforce environments. The companies use Sweep for AI documentation, impact analysis and audit readiness. Many security firms operate highly customised Salesforce systems built over 15 to 20 years, creating governance challenges as they scale globally or prepare for IPOs. These companies face strict audit requirements including SOC, SOX and HIPAA compliance. At SailPoint, Sweep reduced impact analysis time from 30 minutes to two minutes and reclaimed over 750 hours of Salesforce capacity annually. The platform indexes Salesforce metadata, automation logic and dependencies into a unified system model, providing real-time impact analysis. Founded in 2021, Sweep recently launched support for multiple Salesforce environments, with Snowflake and ServiceNow integration coming soon.
