What believers are saying

  • CES said August 24, 2026 it is growing its team for expanding operations.
  • FDOT intended to award CES a statewide sign demolition contract after August 24, 2026 bids.
  • CES still markets active Florida offices and full-service environmental contracting on July 27, 2026.

What critics are saying

  • FDOT awards lowest responsive bidder contracts, crushing margins and rewarding price over quality.
  • CES remains Florida-centered, exposing revenue to state procurement cycles and hurricane disruptions.
  • Heavy reliance on public demolition contracts creates an existential cliff if FDOT work slows.
