Requirements
  • A university degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering and a customer-centric marketing orientation.
  • At least 5 years of experience in industry-related direct sales, particularly solution-based and value-based sales.
  • In-depth knowledge of OEM solutions and systems, including OEM product selection software.
  • Experience tracking customer sales information, forecasts, and reports using software applications such as customer relationship management systems.
  • Strong understanding of complex business-to-business sales cycles and negotiation techniques.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
  • Ability to simplify complex problems, conduct root cause analysis, and provide clear recommendations.
  • Strong team-oriented leadership skills, presence, and a bias for action.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate openly and authentically in all situations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60–70% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Consistently exceed assigned bookings and shipment targets within the designated territory.
  • Directly oversee assigned accounts to ensure proactive engagement and customer satisfaction.
  • Create detailed proposals and quotations in line with the company sales process using available tools.
  • Build and grow the direct customer base by nurturing relationships with key original equipment manufacturer customers, distributors, and design engineers, while identifying new market opportunities.
  • Orchestrate sales and marketing campaigns to increase sales, enhance brand recognition and loyalty, improve margins, and expand market reach.
  • Define and operate the original equipment manufacturer sales channel within the Europe and United Kingdom region.
  • Establish and maintain regular contact with decision-makers at potential and existing customers through a formalized work plan.
  • Facilitate the successful achievement of basis-of-design specifications for new factory programs and projects through client and internal stakeholders in supply chain, engineering, product marketing, operations, quality, and warranty.
  • Manage the leverage project pipeline by training and educating original equipment manufacturer sales and service teams, engaging national and regional management, participating in sales and service meetings, and supporting project wins through joint sales calls and quotation support.
  • Develop and sustain strong client relationships, becoming the basis of design by proactively engaging consulting engineers early in the design process.
  • Understand customer needs and challenges to offer tailored solutions.
  • Provide post-sale support to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain comprehensive customer and competitor records and participate in sales planning sessions.
  • Analyze customer feedback to improve market share.
  • Sell company products, services, and solutions using value-selling expertise to communicate their benefits and increase margins and close rates.
  • Promote and sell company products and solutions using the company sales strategy and process.
  • Call on original equipment manufacturer customers, including chiller, heat pump, CDU, boiler, and modular packager customers, weekly to grow the sales funnel and close projects.
  • Develop a written territory plan with objectives, goals, sales strategies, and tactics to exceed sales objectives.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate on sales strategies, marketing channels, and sales forecasts.
  • Apply commercial best practices aligned with the company sales process.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and customer information records in the customer relationship management system in real time.
  • Use the customer relationship management tool daily to measure and track sales activities and produce biweekly market activity reports.
  • Track competitive activities and market conditions.
  • Work with other departments to provide feedback, improve operations, and help ensure on-time customer services.
  • Support special projects assigned by management.
  • Join key trade associations in the Europe and United Kingdom region and participate in local chapters such as Eurovent, AREA, and REHVA.
