Requirements
  • Graduate from an approved school of medicine.
  • Hold a license in the state where the physician practices.
  • Be board eligible or board certified by the appropriate certifying board.
  • Have a current Drug Enforcement Administration number.
  • Apply for and maintain medical staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities if required by the physician’s employment agreement.
  • Demonstrate commitment to healthcare and concern for people in distress.
  • Use critical listening skills and communicate clearly.
  • Desire to work with all types of people and work as a team member.
  • Maintain excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Meet desired business outcomes while maintaining quality of care.
  • Be willing to continuously update skills.
  • Have prior experience with the Fascial Distortion Model or be willing to pursue training in it.
Responsibilities
  • Provide osteopathic manipulative medicine care to patients in the Fairbanks community and Interior Alaska.
  • Frequently utilize the Fascial Distortion Model in patient treatment.
  • Collaborate with a team of six osteopathic manipulative medicine physicians, experienced medical assistants, and an administrative team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Additional related education and/or experience is preferred.
