Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in finance, economics, business, or a related field, with expected graduation in 2028 for the 2027 program or 2029 for the 2028 program.
An academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.7 or equivalent.
Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and accounting fundamentals.
Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is required for Brazil-based participants.
Must be based in a time zone between UTC-3 and UTC-6.
Responsibilities
Participate in weekly training curriculum led by the firm's bankers.
Complete case projects based on anonymized or past transactions and receive written feedback on each.
Observe team meetings and selected client calls, followed by debrief sessions on what was decided and why.
Work with a designated mentor who reviews work and meets weekly.
Present a final case to the firm's partners and receive a written evaluation at the close of the program.

The program
The MACA Summer Analyst program is an educational program held each year from early June to the end of July – June 1 to July 30, 2027, and June 1 to July 28, 2028 – for students who want to understand how cross-border M&A advisory works in practice. It is built around a structured curriculum taught by the firm's bankers, case work modeled on real transactions, and supervised observation of how our team runs mandates. The program is designed to complement your studies, and we work with universities to support academic credit where it is available.
What you will learn
Financial modeling and valuation: comparable companies, precedent transactions and DCF, taught in weekly sessions and applied in case exercises
How a sell-side, buy-side or capital raise advisory process runs, from preparation to closing
Research methods for companies, sectors and comparable transactions using FactSet, Bloomberg, PitchBook and Capital IQ
How professional presentations, teasers and memos are structured and written
Latin American M&A specifics, including country risk premia, FX considerations and how multiples compare with US and European benchmarks
How the program works
