About the company

Its services are designed for underserved and low-income residents, with care available regardless of ability to pay, funded by program service fees, federal grants, and private contributions, and it accepts Medicare and Medicaid. The organization began in 1971 as a counseling program and expanded over the years to medical, dental, and OB-Gyn/perinatal clinics, building partnerships with local health systems to extend access. CentroMed aims to increase access to affordable, comprehensive healthcare through a network of clinics and community partnerships, serving a broad client base including families, homeless individuals, and vulnerable populations.
