Organization skills and flexibility to manage changing priorities.
Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair company vans, vehicles, and equipment for two vehicle fleets as part of the service crew.
Manage the workload and keep the fleet maintenance system up to date with preventive maintenance and repair records.
Work on snow removal equipment and lawn maintenance equipment as needed.
Work as part of a four-person team.
Desired Qualifications
Certification for Department of Transportation vehicles or willingness to obtain Department of Transportation certification.
Knowledge of small equipment and snow equipment.
Previous experience with large vehicle fleets.
Job Description
Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing company vans, vehicles and equipment for 2 fleets of vehicles, as part of the service crew. Manage your work load and assist with keeping the fleet maintenance system up to date on all preventive maintenance and repairs. May also work on snow removal equipment and all lawn maintenance equipment. Work as part of a 4 person team.
Position is year-round, salary with benefits. Hours will fluctuate with snow removal season.
Qualifications
Experience as auto technician/mechanic Certified to DOT vehicles preferred Small equipment knowledge and snow equipment knowledge preferred Previous experience with large fleet of vehicles a plus Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Organization skills and flexibility to manage changing priorities DOT certification or willingness to obtain
