OT on a Exempt Contract Contingent Basis Engagement Team | Sr Technical Writer Labor Category - Mid Level Exempt Professional aligned under services related to NAICS: 611630 - DPLH Est.: 2080 Hrs. ST | 0 Hrs. OT on a Exempt Contract Contingent Basis located Fort Liberty - North Carolina 28307 Across The Mid Atlantic Region supporting a key U.S. Army installation that supports the Army’s mission of global readiness and operational excellence. As one of the largest and most dynamic military bases, Fort Liberty serves as a home to the XVIII Airborne Corps, the 82nd Airborne Division, and several other vital military units. The base plays a critical role in preparing soldiers for rapid deployment and combat operations, ensuring that U.S. Army personnel are equipped, trained, and ready to support national defense objectives and global security commitments.

Seeking German Language  Specialist candidates with relevant Education, And Academia Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Education, And Academia Sector Clients such as ARMY.  This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Language and Culture Services Support  (German Language  Specialist) in the Education, And Academia Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as Department of Army (Army) | Mission & Installation Contacting Command -Fort Liberty Generally Located In Fort Liberty - North Carolina 28311 and across the Mid Atlantic Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - German Language  Specialist | Language and Cultural Education [ARMY030035]

• Conduct German language instruction, focusing on military applications.
•  Develop lesson plans and POIs that integrate language proficiency and cultural understanding.
•  Provide language proficiency assessments and continuous feedback.
•  Foster an immersive learning environment utilizing multimedia and technology

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For German Language  Specialist | Language and Cultural Education [ARMY030035] (ARMY030035) Candidates:

• Native or near native fluency in German.
•  Experience with military language training preferred.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Education, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in teaching German in a military context

Skills Required

• Fluency in German, with emphasis on military specific language.
• Ability to design culturally relevant and immersive language lessons.
• Proficient in using technology tools for language training

Competencies Required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
• Problem-solving and critical thinking in an educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage learners.
• Leadership and adaptability in a diverse classroom environment

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

• Must be comfortable teaching in an immersive and technologically supported environment.
• Travel may be required for onsite instruction at military bases
• In compliance with national standards, the role requires constant professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest methodologies and best practices in language instruction.
• The ability to work within a variety of teaching environments, including in-person, online, and hybrid settings.

Other Details

Work in a military training environment with a focus on immersion. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.
