Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the video creation process, from pre-production concepting, scripts, storyboarding, and timelines through shooting and post-production editing.
  • Capture footage for how-to product videos, human interviews, on-location sites, and studio productions using video camera equipment.
  • Make technical decisions about lighting, shooting angles, and audio equipment.
  • Edit and assemble final visual and audio program material while ensuring production consistency and technical quality.
  • Test recording, audio, and lighting equipment before field operation.
  • Oversee the security, operation, and maintenance of equipment used for shooting and editing.
  • Proofread, review, and present final video footage for approval, suggest improvements, and prepare final files for distribution.
  • Coordinate and direct video shoots, including securing site locations when needed.
  • Manage voice-over and modeling talent selection and scheduling.
  • Create voiceovers using artificial intelligence voiceover software and research current AI voiceover solutions.
  • Manage storyboarding scripts and visuals and obtain final approval from the marketing team or project owner.
  • Apply photo retouching, color correction, special effects, and animation to video footage when needed.
  • Capture and edit miscellaneous photography, including headshots, product shots, and other creative shots.
  • Develop contacts and working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Propose software and hardware upgrades, obtain training on purchased items, and monitor hardware and software updates.
  • Work with information technology on software needed to keep department systems current and efficient.

Midmark RTLS brings Epic-integrated staff duress alerts to healthcare workflows

Midmark RTLS has announced that its CareFlow RTLS Staff Duress solution has joined the Epic Toolbox in the Staff Duress category for 2026. The technology enables healthcare workers to send real-time, location-aware alerts directly into Epic's system when they activate a duress button on their RTLS badges. The integration uses HL7 FHIR-based APIs to transmit the staff member's identity and location to Epic, which then notifies security teams through push notifications. Responders can acknowledge or decline alerts within Epic. The solution works with Bluetooth Low Energy, Infrared, and Hybrid RTLS technologies. Midmark RTLS, a subsidiary of Midmark Corporation, has been deploying Epic integrations since 2012. More than 1,100 hospitals and healthcare facilities currently use its technology for patient flow, staff safety, and asset tracking.

Midmark expands accessible care offering with new Barrier-Free exam chairs. September 1, 2026- Midmark Corp. has expanded its Midmark and Ritter Barrier-Free exam chair line to meet growing demand for accessible, compliant exam chair solutions. The brand-new Ritter 228 and 229 Barrier-Free Examination Chairs offer height-adjustable solutions to help healthcare providers deliver quality care to more patients. In 2022, more than 1 in 4 US adults - more than 70 million people - reported having a disability, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. For healthcare providers, that means millions of appointments where the right equipment can help improve accessibility, support safer transfers and protect care quality. "As demand for accessible care continues to grow, healthcare facilities need practical ways to support patients with mobility limitations while protecting staff during transfers. Midmark RTLS launches BLE Sensory Network for faster, scalable healthcare location tracking

Midmark RTLS has launched its Bluetooth Low Energy Sensory Network, offering healthcare facilities a faster, more cost-effective path to facility-wide real-time location tracking. The system uses plug-in BLE sensors to provide near-room location precision of 3-5 metres for staff, patients and equipment. The solution supports critical use cases including asset tracking and staff duress, with minimal infrastructure investment and rapid deployment. Midmark is also releasing a BLE/IR Hybrid Sensory Network in limited early release, combining BLE coverage with infrared technology for room-level precision to support advanced applications like nurse call automation and patient flow.
