A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Transportation Planning is required.
Zero to four years of experience in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning is required.
Knowledge of traffic analysis software is required.
A valid driver's license and personal transportation are required.
Authorization to work in the United States is required.
Responsibilities
Collect, analyze, and report traffic data.
Perform intersection capacity analyses.
Conduct parking studies.
Review roadway geometrics and signal timing.
Evaluate bicycle and pedestrian facilities or conditions.
Prepare technical reports.
Travel to and from job sites, other offices, and meetings as required.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with HCS, Synchro, or VISSIM is preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
