A bachelor’s-level degree in engineering or a similar discipline is required.
A comprehensive understanding of tendering processes is required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Experience with AutoCAD is beneficial.
Willingness to learn and adapt to different elements of a project is required.
Responsibilities
Become familiar with all project details, designs, and specifications.
Collate technical submittals as detailed by the Contracts or Project Manager and manage the process.
Collaborate with the Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Design, and Quantity Surveying teams to update progress reports.
Include the job number at the start of the subject line of all emails.
Raise requests for information and keep the request-for-information schedule up to date.
Follow up on orders for long-lead plant items.
Ensure that the latest drawing revisions are being used on site.
Redline drawings with as-built information and issue them to the design team.
Monitor subcontractor compliance.
Attend site meetings.
Assist the Quantity Surveyor with variations, change backup, and procurement.
Manage relevant external correspondence.
Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, applicable standards, and health and safety regulations.
Comply with all required EHSQ policies and procedures.
Compile the Operations and Maintenance Manual and support the commissioning and handover process.
Maintain the K&M Document Management System.
