Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare, Public Health, or a related field is required.
  • Experience in public health and/or consulting in employer-sponsored health and benefits, including hands-on experience in strategy, plan design, benefit modernization, flexible benefits, workforce health, or employee communications.
  • Experience in product ownership or product management, preferably with global digital applications or consulting solutions.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and roadmap development.
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and keep stakeholders informed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think strategically about how solutions provide value to clients, local markets, and MMB Advisory.
  • Comfort with quantitative data, including metrics and financials, and qualitative insights, including stakeholder feedback and trends.
  • Experience working across time zones and geographies, with sensitivity to regional differences.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and navigate ambiguity with autonomy.
  • Fluency in health and benefits terminology, written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Smartsheet, and Qualtrics.
  • Ability to interpret thought leadership, research, and benchmarking data to extract key insights and create compelling data visualizations.
Responsibilities
  • Identify market needs and partner with colleagues across regions to understand client challenges and emerging trends.
  • Conduct market research using internal intellectual capital, Health on Demand research, external sources, and industry reports.
  • Integrate external research and literature reviews into outcomes-based initiatives that drive value.
  • Support agile product development sprints from problem definition through business case development, including market analysis, solution design, financial modeling, and go-to-market piloting.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather intellectual capital and capabilities globally and standardize them into best-practice solutions.
  • Support the definition of global best practices in templated solution sales templates, delivery guides, project plans, and pricing tools.
  • Support training on solution sales templates, delivery guides, project plans, and pricing tools for multinational, regional, and local advisory teams.
  • Serve as a liaison between global leadership, local teams, and the Advice & Solutions group for local market enablement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and local stakeholders on internal and external launch campaigns and raise awareness of the Benefits You Strategy Builder.
  • Support Benefits You Strategy Builder training for consultants and communicate solution and feature updates.
  • Support KPI adoption tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across geographies and business lines, including key clients.

Marsh beats Q1 estimates with $7.6B revenue, $3.29 EPS as organic growth hits 5%

Marsh reported Q1 revenue of $7.6 billion, up 7.6% year-over-year, beating the consensus estimate of $7.38 billion by 2.88%. Earnings per share came in at $3.29, compared to $3.06 in the prior-year quarter, surpassing the consensus estimate of $3.21 by 2.46%. Key metrics showed mixed performance against analyst expectations. Consolidated organic revenue growth of 5% exceeded the 3.5% estimate, whilst consulting organic growth of 5% topped the 4.4% forecast. However, Guy Carpenter's organic growth of 2% fell short of the 4.2% estimate. Geographically, Marsh's EMEA division generated $1.21 billion in revenue, up 14.1% year-over-year and beating estimates. Mercer consulting revenue reached $1.66 billion, an 11% increase that surpassed the $1.58 billion consensus.
