Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, leasing, hospitality, retail, restaurants, or another customer-facing role is required.
  • Ability to ask for the sale and follow up persistently without being pushy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional phone and email presence.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, calendars, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Availability to work Saturdays and occasional evenings during peak leasing season.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to walk the property and tour units multiple times daily, including stairs; operate a golf cart; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds; sit or stand for extended periods; and work outdoors in Phoenix summer heat during tours and outreach events.
Responsibilities
  • Greet walk-ins, answer calls and internet leads, and schedule appointments.
  • Provide information about available properties and leasing terms.
  • Conduct tours of models, available units, amenities, and floor plans, matching prospects to appropriate units.
  • Follow up on leads by phone, text, and email until they close or become inactive.
  • Process applications, including income and credit screening, verification, and approvals.
  • Prepare and execute lease documents, addenda, and renewal agreements.
  • Maintain accurate guest cards, traffic logs, conversion data, lease documentation, and files in compliance with company policies and Fair Housing law.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and property management teams to resolve tenant requests and maintain property upkeep.
  • Answer inquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email, and in person.
  • Achieve individual weekly leasing, closing-ratio, and follow-up goals and contribute to property occupancy goals.
  • Conduct competitor market surveys and report on pricing, specials, and concessions.
  • Contribute photos, video, and content for social media and listing sites.
  • Support outreach to local employers, referral partners, and neighborhood businesses.
  • Help plan and staff resident events and leasing promotions.
  • Keep models, the tour path, and the leasing office show-ready each day.
  • Welcome new residents and complete move-in orientations and paperwork.
  • Conduct renewal outreach and lease-expiration follow-up.
  • Take service requests, route them to maintenance, and follow up to confirm resolution.
  • Assist with resident communications, packages, general office coverage, and administrative tasks.
  • Walk vacant units to assess market-ready condition before showings.
  • Note curb appeal, safety, and maintenance issues while walking the property.
Desired Qualifications
  • Additional education or certifications in real estate or customer service.
  • Familiarity with leasing software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior multifamily leasing experience.
  • Working knowledge of Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, or comparable property management software.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements and the Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act.
  • Bilingual ability in English and Spanish.
