About the job

Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years as a solutions architect or forward-deployed engineer in enterprise software, including recent experience designing AI solutions for external customers.
  • Demonstrated depth in AI architecture, including agentic systems, large language model-based workflows, tool use, and context and retrieval design, with judgment about when AI is more effective than a deterministic approach.
  • Experience defining how AI quality is measured and maintained in production, including evaluation, guardrails, human review, and observability.
  • Enterprise data architecture experience across complex technology landscapes, including data mobility work such as extract, transform, and load (ETL), migrations, and conversions, and the ability to assess whether customer data is ready for AI use.
  • Fluency in integration approaches, including API and event-driven integration, integration platform as a service (iPaaS) and low-code platforms, and custom middleware; command of REST, GraphQL, webhooks, SCIM, SAML 2.0/OAuth 2.0, and MCP standards.
  • Working proficiency in Python or TypeScript and regular use of AI-assisted editors such as Cursor or Claude Code, sufficient to prototype a design and evaluate an engineer's proposed implementation approach.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise security, compliance, and governance requirements, including how AI systems handle customer data, and the ability to uphold these requirements during review.
  • Experience estimating delivery effort and creating statements of work for AI builds, data migrations, integrations, and custom application development, and building models that enable consistent estimation by others.
  • Commercial acumen sufficient to conduct technical discovery with customers and support the sale of technical services.
  • Strong customer-facing and presentation skills, with written and verbal communication skills to establish credibility with technical stakeholders and executives and explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Detail orientation, problem-solving and documentation skills, and the ability to work across simultaneous engagements at different stages, take initiative, and adapt.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Lead technical discovery for Deployment Strategists scoping new work and Account Owners qualifying opportunities within existing accounts, surfacing AI, integration, and data requirements before scope and price are committed.
  • Design advanced AI architecture on the monday AI work platform, spanning the agents, context, and data layers that intelligent enterprise workflows run on.
  • Architect technical scope beyond native platform capabilities, including integrations, data mobility and migrations, custom applications, and their interfaces.
  • Estimate the effort and consumption impact of scoped technical work.
  • Partner with Account Owners and Deployment Strategists to sell forward-deployed engineering services and establish credibility with enterprise architects, security reviewers, and executives funding the work.
  • Produce solution design documents, architecture diagrams, workflow artifacts, and technical content for proposals and statements of work.
  • Carry designs into delivery on complex engagements by briefing forward-deployed consultants and engineers and providing technical oversight for early-stage execution.
  • Own technical delivery standards for architecture, security, governance, scalability, and reference patterns.
  • Build estimation models, discovery questionnaires, and reusable skill libraries to enable accurate scoping without an architect present in most cases.
  • Serve as the delivery team's technical authority, raising capability through mentoring and knowledge sharing, and advocate with Product when customer needs exceed current platform capabilities.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.

Monday.com director sells shares as stock drops 48% amid AI agent concerns

Monday.com director Eyal Aviad sold 2,000 ordinary shares on 31 August 2026 at $100.66 per share, according to an SEC Form 4 filing. The transaction represented less than 1% of Aviad's holdings in the Tel Aviv-based company. The sale was executed through a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan, which allows insiders to establish predetermined schedules for selling stock. Following the transaction, Aviad continues to hold 205,455 ordinary shares, valued at approximately $20.78 million based on the 31 August market close price. Monday.com, which develops Work OS work management software, has grown trailing-12-month revenue by 24% year over year to $1.4 billion, though growth has been slowing recently.

Monday.com stock surges 16% in August after Salesforce's stellar Q2 earnings

Monday.com's stock rose 16% in August despite initial investor disappointment with its second-quarter results. The workplace productivity software developer reported revenue of nearly $365 million, up 22% year over year, and adjusted net income of $65.6 million, beating analyst expectations on both metrics. However, investors initially sold off the stock due to concerns about the company's net revenue retention rate and broader scepticism toward legacy software companies. The company's full-year revenue guidance of approximately $1.47 billion, representing at least 19% growth, merely met rather than exceeded analyst estimates. The stock's fortunes reversed later in the month when Salesforce released strong second-quarter results, with adjusted net income more than doubling. This sparked renewed investor confidence in legacy software stocks and CRM companies, lifting Monday.com's shares.

Monday.com hits profitability at 32.9x earnings after cutting 20% of workforce and $870M buyback

Monday.com has reached consistent profitability, trading at approximately 32.9x earnings near its estimated fair multiple of 34.4x. The work management platform shows a forward price-to-sales ratio of 2.7x alongside strong annual recurring revenue growth and gross margins. The company recently announced plans to cut roughly 20% of its workforce in 2026 whilst maintaining revenue growth guidance of 19% to 20%. It completed a share buyback of approximately 20.8% of shares for $870.03 million. Monday.com's valuation narrative centres on converting strong ARR and high gross margins into reliable earnings without relying on multiple expansion. The primary risk remains execution, particularly sustaining customer acquisition and ARR momentum as marketing and R&D spending stays elevated. Conservative analysts project 2029 revenue of $2.0 billion.

Monday.com stock surges 20.4% in July on restructuring plan, workforce cut

Monday.com shares rose 20.4% in July 2026, driven by broad market movements and a corporate restructuring. The stock gained 20% through mid-July on a market rotation into enterprise software, then fell 25% after IBM warned that data centre construction was cutting into software budgets. Monday.com rebounded after announcing a 20% workforce reduction on 22 July, which investors viewed favourably for margin expansion. The stock climbed back to match its earlier July peak. The gains proved short-lived. When Monday.com reported second-quarter results in early August, beating analyst estimates whilst reaffirming guidance, shares opened 11% lower. Co-CEOs Roy Mann and Eran Zinman said the restructuring aimed to position the workflow-automation specialist for what they called "the largest opportunity we have ever seen in software".
