Requirements
  • A secondary-school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in in-home or outside sales, preferably with customized products or services, is preferred.
  • Experience in a retail environment, preferably in furniture and interior decoration, is preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer software and the ability to learn new technologies and systems are required.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance coverage are required.
  • Bilingual communication skills are required.
  • An interest in design, sales, and building lasting customer relationships is required.
Responsibilities
  • Make telephone calls, visit customers in person, and give presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals for existing and prospective customers.
  • Plan and organize a personal sales strategy to maximize return on investment for the assigned territory or sector.
  • Write written and oral reports on customer needs, problems, and interests, competitive activities, and the potential for new products and services.
Desired Qualifications
