- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management and cybersecurity operations.
- Hands-on experience with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platforms and technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving technologies and environments.
- A solution-oriented mindset focused on resolving issues efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience setting up, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Familiarity with client administration and service delivery best practices.
- Expertise in Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) operations, including security monitoring, threat management, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices relevant to managed security services.
- Proven client engagement skills, including offering tailored security solutions and maintaining ongoing relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align on project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
- Oversee and maintain IT systems, enforce security protocols, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Implement and manage Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions to enhance security and connectivity for clients.
- Establish key performance indicators, monitor progress, and report on service outcomes regularly.
- Identify challenges and deliver effective solutions to meet client and organizational needs.
- Operate autonomously, manage priorities, and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Handle client onboarding, documentation, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Conduct ongoing monitoring for cyber threats, analyze security incidents, and coordinate timely response actions in line with MSSP operations.
- Lead and participate in incident response activities, continuously improving readiness and response procedures for managed security services.
- Enhance MSSP processes and optimize client satisfaction through feedback and operational refinement.

Skarper, a start-up backed by Sir Chris Hoy, has surged in value by nearly £2 million ahead of securing a major funding boost. The company, which collaborates with Oracle Red Bull Racing, patented a system converting regular bikes into e-bikes.
