Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • SigNoz shipped v0.140.0 on September 2, 2026, showing aggressive release velocity.
  • The August 26, 2026 AI Coding Agents plugin widens usage beyond infrastructure engineers.
  • Jira alert channels and full-text log search broaden enterprise workflow fit and stickiness.

What critics are saying

  • CVE-2026-63094, fixed after July 15, 2026, enables SSO token theft and account takeover.
  • CVE-2026-57955 and CVE-2026-57956 exposed SQL injection and cross-tenant alert-rule leakage in June 2026.
  • Grafana, Datadog, and Elastic can replicate features faster, compressing SigNoz's differentiation over time.

What makes SigNoz unique

  • OpenTelemetry-native architecture and ClickHouse storage keep SigNoz vendor-neutral and cost-efficient.
  • Open-source distribution lowers adoption friction for Kubernetes teams avoiding Datadog lock-in.
  • Enterprise plans add self-hosting, compliance, and data-region controls without abandoning the open core.
