INSHUR expands US commercial auto programme with Mobilitas, Incline and Gen Re support. INSHUR, a global provider of embedded insurance solutions for the on-demand economy, has launched a new commercial auto insurance programme for rideshare and professional drivers across the United States. The programme is led by Mobilitas Insurance, with reinsurance support from Gen Re, and is written through Incline P&C Group. INSHUR says the programme is designed to support the expansion of its commercial auto offering into additional US markets. INSHUR provides the programme's MGA capabilities across pricing, underwriting, distribution and claims. Mobilitas brings its specialist experience in insurance for the mobility and sharing economy, while Incline provides the fronting carrier capacity. Gen Re provides reinsurance support to the programme. The launch will enable INSHUR to expand a programme that has historically operated on a regional basis on the US West Coast into new markets. INSHUR will manage the insurance lifecycle, including pricing, underwriting, quoting, onboarding, policy administration, billing and claims handling. According to INSHUR, its digital platform integrates with major rideshare and delivery networks, including Uber, allowing the company to use platform data as part of the insurance process. INSHUR also said it plans to develop its underwriting capabilities through artificial intelligence, enhanced risk segmentation and usage-based and telematics data. The company said these capabilities could support more dynamic risk models for the on-demand economy, where driving patterns and vehicle use can differ from those covered by conventional commercial auto products. Mobilitas will provide the lead insurance line, with reinsurance support from Gen Re. INSHUR said the arrangement brings together Mobilitas' experience working with major rideshare and delivery platforms with its own technology and operational capabilities. Incline will act as the fronting carrier, extending a relationship with INSHUR that began through other programmes in 2025. Dan Bratshpis, CEO and Co-Founder of INSHUR, commented: "On-demand drivers deserve insurance that works the way they do. This program uses real platform data to price risk more accurately, which means better outcomes for drivers and for the balance sheet. Mobilitas and Incline aren't just comfortable with that approach; they're invested in it. Combined with our platform partnerships, we have a distribution model that no traditional insurer can replicate. This is the infrastructure for what comes next." Jeff Huebner, Executive Vice President of Mobilitas, added: "Mobilitas was built to address the needs of stakeholders across the mobility ecosystem: drivers, passengers, pedestrians and providers. We deliver purpose-built insurance capacity, deep mobility-sector expertise and a long-term commitment to the sharing and on-demand economy, and are pleased to bring those strengths to market through a technology-enabled platform that offers more responsive, scalable insurance solutions for the mobility sector." Chris McClellan, President and CEO of Incline P&C Group, said: "The on-demand economy has the opportunity to reshape commercial auto, and this program positions Incline at the centre of it. INSHUR's operational expertise in this area gives us the confidence to commit to this space at scale. It's exactly the kind of partnership that drives Incline's growth strategy: disciplined underwriting in markets with real momentum." INSHUR appoints Christopher Aragon as Head of US Sales and Operations to drive growth and expand mobility insurance footprint. Executive from Turo and Outdoorsy will oversee the company's revenue engine and sales operations, supporting commercial growth across the car share and mobility insurance industry (New York, NY, February 19, 2026) - INSHUR, the leader in insurance solutions for the on-demand economy, announced today the appointment of Christopher Aragon as Head of US Sales and Operations. In this role, Aragon will be responsible for overseeing the company's revenue engine and commercial operations, with a focus on scaling profitable growth, strengthening execution across sales functions, and ensuring tight coordination between commercial strategy and execution as INSHUR continues to expand globally. Aragon joins INSHUR with more than 20 years of experience in the insurance and mobility industry, having held senior leadership roles at Tint, Outdoorsy/Roamly, Turo, and Progressive. His background spans sales, underwriting, claims, risk management, and automation, with a focus on designing and scaling data-driven insurance programs for shared economy, fleet, and gig-driver ecosystems, aligning closely with INSHUR's mission to build insurance infrastructure designed for how mobility actually works today. "Christopher brings a strong blend of expertise and insights thanks to his successes in building data-driven insurance programs across the on-demand mobility economy," said Dan Bratshpis, CEO and co-founder of INSHUR. "His experience at leading mobility and insurance companies gives us valuable perspective on where the market is headed and where we can push it forward. As we scale our first-to-market Off-rental (Period X(TM) and On-rental (Period Z) car share products, his expertise in this category will be invaluable. His deep understanding of the on-demand economy allows him to translate complex regulatory and operational constraints into innovative products and scalable commercial systems that customers actually need." "I was drawn to INSHUR by the environment they've created at the intersection of deep insurance knowledge and modern mobility needs," said Aragon. "The company's focus on building durable and cohesive systems is a flywheel where revenue growth, operational integrity, and customer outcomes are constantly reinforcing each other. It's a rare combination, and I believe it's the foundation for carrying on the future of mobility insurance in both a responsible and sustainable manner." With over 40 million people in the US involved in gig economy work, rideshare and delivery drivers are the backbone of the on-demand economy, powering one of the biggest economic shifts in decades. INSHUR supports this workforce by simplifying commercial insurance for rideshare, carshare, and last mile delivery, aligning coverage with real driving activity to build trust between drivers, platforms, and insurers. Through embedded, flexible commercial auto insurance, INSHUR enables coverage that fits how people actually work today.
INSHUR launches Period Z insurance through Incline partnership. Read the article here: https://iireporter.com/inshur-launches-period-z-insurance-through-incline-partnership/ Its take. INSHUR has added Period Z, an on-rental policy that complements its Period X off-rental cover, creating a single suite aimed at US carshare fleet operators. A new partnership with Incline P&C supplies underwriting capacity and nationwide reach; the combined products are pitched to cut admin, let fleets operate across multiple platforms and open new revenue lines. The move fits a growing US carshare market, but the proposition will stand or fall on pricing, claims handling, regulatory fit and whether fleets actually switch from juggling multiple insurers. The launch is strategic, not guaranteed disruption.
