Integra LifeSciences shares fall 11% despite $411.2M Q3 revenue and return to profit

Integra LifeSciences shares fell about 11% in the first full session after its third-quarter 2026 results, as investors focused on refinancing worries and a high price-to-earnings ratio. Revenue rose to $411.2 million from $402.1 million a year earlier. The company posted a net profit of $14.9 million, against a $5.4 million loss, or basic earnings per share of $0.19. Operating cash flow reached $96 million, and net leverage fell to 3.8x. Net debt remains about $1.6 billion. Integra plans to refinance through new $450 million 9.5% notes, at an estimated 100 to 200 basis points higher rate. It also forecasts higher interest costs in 2027 and a softer fourth-quarter organic outlook.

Integra prices $450M senior secured notes at 9.5% to refinance credit facilities

Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation has priced $450 million in senior secured notes due 2033, carrying a 9.500% interest rate. The medical technology company expects to close the sale on or around 19 October 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. The notes will be general senior secured obligations guaranteed by Integra's wholly-owned domestic subsidiaries that guarantee the company's existing senior secured credit facilities. Integra plans to use proceeds from the offering, combined with borrowings under new credit facilities, to refinance existing credit facilities and cover associated fees and expenses. The offering forms part of a broader refinancing transaction. The notes were offered only to qualified institutional buyers and certain non-US persons, relying on exemptions from Securities Act registration requirements. Integra LifeSciences is a global medical technology company specialising in neurosurgery and tissue reconstruction.

Integra LifeSciences cuts 2026 guidance after Cincinnati flooding disrupts production

Integra LifeSciences has lowered its full-year 2026 financial guidance following flooding at its Cincinnati manufacturing facility in July. The medical technology company now expects annual revenue of $1.634 billion to $1.654 billion, down from previous guidance of $1.654 billion to $1.695 billion. The flooding disrupted production of several products in the company's Specialty Surgical Technologies portfolio. Integra estimates the supply disruption reduced third quarter revenue by approximately $7 million and will impact fourth quarter revenue by $15 million to $20 million. The company expects third quarter revenue of $410 million to $412 million and adjusted earnings per share of $0.55 to $0.59. Full-year adjusted earnings per share guidance has been revised to $2.30 to $2.40, down from $2.40 to $2.50. Integra maintains property and business interruption insurance and expects recoveries to mitigate a substantial portion of the earnings impact. The facility is expected to return to full manufacturing operations during the second quarter of 2027.
