Requirements
  • A Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) in Nursing is required.
  • The candidate must be a member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
  • Previous experience in the targeted department is required.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong communication and listening abilities, organization, professionalism, and autonomy.
Responsibilities
  • Provide quality nursing care to patients in a hospital environment.
  • Assess patients’ medical and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with families about patients’ health status and needs.
  • Participate in case management to ensure continuity of care.
  • Train and supervise auxiliary staff when applicable.
