Junior Project Designer
About the job
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a similar field.
- Up to three years of professional experience.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Knowledge of Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, construction mechanics, statics, structural engineering principles, structural and reinforcement drawings, BIM environments, and digital engineering tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of Doka Formwork Systems is an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Design formwork and shoring solutions for international construction projects.
- Develop technical drawings and 3D models, preferably using Revit or other engineering tools.
- Analyze project documentation and technical requirements.
- Prepare material lists and technical project documentation.
- Perform engineering calculations and ensure compliance with applicable standards and safety requirements.
- Optimize designs for cost, material quantities, and equipment utilization.
- Support local Doka subsidiaries with technical expertise and engineering solutions.
- Participate in customer and internal project meetings.
- Maintain accurate and complete project documentation.
- Collaborate with international engineering teams and share best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of engineering standards within Doka.
